VKD Series shredders provide operators with a wide range of working widths from 5’1” to 6’10” allowing you to easily shred clippings and vine shoots

VKD shredders finely shred grass, vine shoots and prunings. VKD models are available in working widths from 5’1” to 6’10” in order to fit your row spacing precisely with the hydraulic offset system. The sliding tube on VKD models is compact and useful when having to work under trees in any orchard.

Kuhn VKD Series Versatile Design

Hammer Knives and Counter Knives

Hammer knives allow shredding of up to a 2” diameter brush. To achieve fine shredding, use the counter knives (one straight and two notched) to make sure residues are cut.

Kuhn VKD Series Offset Capability

VKD models feature a hydraulically controlled offset for quick adjustments without having to leave the tractor seat.

Easily Control Your Height

Roller or Semi-Pivoting Wheels

Height is controlled via a roller or semi-pivoting wheels. The roller is fitted with removable ends as standard, so that you can carry out any necessary maintenance or repair quickly and easily at reduced costs.

Suited to Meet Your Needs

Kuhn VKD Series Collecting Rake (Optional on VKD)

The rear collecting rake, available as an option, lifts up residues and vine shoots which are pressed down to the ground and need to be shredded. The roller guides keep it stable on uneven or damp ground. For greater machine stability, you can add skids or a roller.

Kuhn VKD Series Side Trimming Disc (Optional)

For clean row spacing, this hydraulically driven device moves around the trees for clean maintenance without damaging tree trunks or vine stocks. With its hydraulic work/transport positioning system, this tool is very easy to use.
